ive heard about compost tumblers which make compost much quicker than normal compost bins, but i dont want to buy one, does anyone know how to make one??

We just made one: we took a 55 gallon drum, closed on both ends, cut a 3x2 piece out of the side (which we hinged back on to form the door) and added a latch. Then we made a frame out of wood, took 4 old lawnmower tires and mounted them and just laid the drum longways on the wheels. It works great and cost us about $ 10.00

Any plastic container will do. Put a few air holes in the lid.
You cannot throw meat or any product with fat into a compost.
