I have a parakeet named (temporarily) Glinda and I have some questions on accessories and space. Her cage right now has a feeder, waterer, cuttle bone, tent, tree, wavy perch, dowel perch, swing with a bell and mirror, and a bell. What else do I need? Should I take any of the stuff out? How big should the cage be? Also we need some name ideas. We're considering Glinda, Crackers, Wicked, Polly, Sky, Cutie Pie. She is blue and white. Also, she is hand and shoulder tamed. What should I teach her next?

Oh gosh, You dont need anything else except feed for cockatiels. Cockateils are beautiful. She seems to got evrything she needs for now.

You can take stuff out, It really depends on how big the cage is. If she can move around freely without bumping in to things than you dont have to, if she s than take out some of the toys and keep one or 2.

The cage needs to be at least 19in(L)*14in(W)*19in(H).Possibly 16in*16in*16in. It needs to have a good dorr preferably not one that opens easyily, they can get ou here pretty smart.

I think lilly is a food name, also kayla, layla, Gigi, gabby, , but you got to make sure that you have to find her personality in order to find a good name.

Just teach her what her abilities are. She can learn if you are patient
